Union, WI only existed for 5 years before it was decided to split Union into two towns. The first half was easily dubbed Concord, but naming the second half brought excessive arguing. In Wisconsin, instead of saying “I love you”, you say “ugh Budweiser stop-and-go lights Kleenex bubbler brats GO PACK GO” which translates roughly to “My love for you will last longer than our winter”, and I think that’s beautiful.
